# Introduction

Hi, I'm Austin! I'm a technical writer, content editor, and blogger living in San Francisco, CA.

I serve as the Communications Chair for the [UChicago Alumni Club of the Bay Area](https://alumniandfriends.uchicago.edu/s/community?clubGroupName=Alumni+Club+of+the+Bay+Area) and recently started a [Blog](/blog/becoming-a-fledgling-technical-writer.md) on my website called *The Developer's Pen*.&#x20;

On the weekend, you'll find me at a rugby match on Treasure Island, grocery shopping at Whole Foods, or sweating it out at Barry's or Flagship in the Castro.&#x20;
